What has helped me is refusing the easy superiority story. Both places shaped me, and both have things to grieve and things worth carrying forward.

I do not think doubt makes someone less faithful. Sometimes it just means they are finally telling the truth about their life.

I do not think certainty is the measure of faithfulness. Sometimes staying honest is the holier thing.
